I have installed the standard Ford IPOD auxillary connector but am finding that i am getting some whineing sounds when playing which appear to be linked to engine revs.
Any ideas, didn't particulalrly want to buy the ford amplifier unit. |

I installed the whole kit in my ute and have had no dramas, however my system is running off of an amp under the pas seat. No longer off the std preamp.

You need to by an appliance which is called "engine noise remover' or something like that, you can get em pretty cheap from super cheap and that will resolve your problem. i used to have that issue until installed my sub and amp and problem went away..... but i did like the whineing was like having a turbo under the car if the road was quiet enough....
