In new cars these days when you put the A/C fan onto max you nearly get blasted away with air (dads new commodore is like this and I think new fords are too) is it possible to make a ford falcon EF futura blow air like this, mine set at boost is probably the equivalent of dads set about half to 3/4 ?

aslo when i change the air flow direction i hear a hissing noise but the air flow will either slightly change so there is a little air coming out of all the vents but most comeing out at your face, is this easy to fix?

You will find after more than 10 years worth of air flowing through the heater core it will be fairly chockers with dirt and leaves. Unfortunately when the E series commenced its journey down the assembly line those 10 or more years ago it started as the heater box and they built the car around that. Its a PITA to get at and clean. The air flow issue sounds like a vacuum leak in the plumbing or actuators.
