No chance. Best part of my engine bay (except for the 5.0L V8) Previous owner had since new and religously serviced every 10,000 Klm's. It is in immaculate condition like the rest of the car.

Brand new coolant tank on ebay. Not cheap though! $95 buy now + $15 postage. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-FALCON-COOL ... dZViewItem

Can't really say that I've noticed much of a difference other than it running rough on gas when idling at lights. Installer said it may run a little rough for the first 1500klm's until it is run in and then he will re-tune. But he specifically installs a larger regulator on V8's to compensate.

Hey Mick, nice installation on your Fairlane. Seeing you're from Cardiff way, did Gaspower do your conversion? What sort of mixer have you got too?

G'day Banarcus,

Conversion was done by Paul Hopley Automotive at Barnsley. Asked around and got a few quotes, and Paul came out on top. Did a great job. Not sure what mixer is on it. Will have to take a closer look.
Did you get your intake manifold polished locally? Thinking of getting mine done once xmas is out of the way.
