ok ive been speaking to a bloke from edge converters about a high stall, he has asked me wether my tanny is an aode, or aod? WTF? can someone PLEASE help me.

Well what car have you got, i would expect the e means electronic, but I would be worried if the place you are dealing with cant even tell what you have after you identify the vehicle to them.

Your transmission is neither evil6. You most likely have a BTR 93LE.

AOD and AODE are american transmissions. AOD i believe were fitted to some of our earlier falcons. AODE i think fitted to F series trucks.

Unfortunately there's not really much we can do about this type of thing though. Either people know their falcons, or they don't. There needs to be more specialist Ford places around! :D
