ok, wanting to know if anyne could tell me, how easy it would be to change the dash lights to LED ( Blue or what ever ) or coloured globes in this model dash, I know if I had to remove the dash, it would be alot easier than say removing the EF / EL Dash, any tips will be greatful

yeah good question mate, been looking to do that mod myself for a while.
I would have thought though that removing the XH dash was just as tricky as the EL's. Got any tricks to replace the high beam globes without removing the front bar?

You dont need to remove the front bar for replacing High Beam globes, just removing the plastic front cover around the radiator then you can get to the lights this way, done both sets in the Ute, parking, headlights & High Beams, not too hard at all

Ok bays here it it, if you have an XH Xr yau do have to remove the front bar otherwise just do it from the top like XHV8 said
The dash is a peice o piss to get out of the xh, first remove the grey screw covers at the top of the cluster and remove the screws under them, you may need a right angled screw driver or something, next remove the two screws under the dash (just under the demister switch) one on the right is in the exact same place. Then you have to remove the fuse panel cover, thats just the 4 big black plastic screw type things, then there is two more screwsunder the dash, then remove the facia! then just take out the 4 screws holding the instrument cluster in disconnect the wiring harness and presto! The mod looks mad! But if you want something different http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 44180&rd=1 and you don't have to change the globes as the dials light up diff colors!
