what is the best method to fit a fiberglass ba bonnet bulge to an ed ?

I did it before on one of my mates cars.

we cut the top skin of the bonnet and got the bulge to sit on the bonnet re-enforcements. once it was sitting in place we put some fibre glass and bodyfiller.

i would say the 2 hardest parts is cutting as you have to go very lightly so you dont cut the re-enforcements and the next hardest was to get a good smooth blend with the bodyfiller.

I know this is very brief but hope it give you a rough assistance.

mine was just bolted on and then fibreglassed and body filler to blend it in.

well I guess that works too. have you had any probs with cracking under flex?

nope its been on there for a while...i thort the turbo would of melted it off by now but i guess heat shield does stop heat but yeh its still all smick.
