Hi,

I have an EF, and I cant seem to work out why the fan belt is running on the front of the water pump pulley, and rubbing on the tensioner.

I have replaced the Balancer and it still does it. I take the Belt tensioner off my Mrs's Car, that is working fine on her EF. And it still rubs on the tensioner ??

Does anyone have a solution ??? it is driving me nuts !!!!!!

harmonic balancer has moved/loosened

Comparing both cars the balancer seems to be sitting where it should be.

Do you mean the large bolt holding the balancer is loose ?

I will try and take a pic today.
