Ay boys,

What sorta turbos is everyone runnin on there i6?

all specs please like a/r and trim? and what rpm you start to spool and rpm you peak at, what is your peak psi on your specific turbo!

Wanna know coz im setting up a 300rwkw package and my last BIG spend is gonna ba the turbo!

gt35/40 otherwise know as gt35r

a/r .7 comp, a/r 1.06 t3 exhaust, trim is whatever they come with.

spools at about 1800 i guess, makes 15psi at 2700-2800 makes 17psi by 3000. im running 17psi

I also run a garrett TO4E..... boost comes on at about 2500rpm..... full boost by 3000rpm....

his sig says he is running 8.4:1
pretty sure he is running stronger Rods/Pistons.
if i remember correctly a stud girdle as well.

not sure if your the same dude that was on boostedfalcon but here it is anyways

im running a garrett to4z with .84 split pulse rear housing.

running 12psi with approx 300+rwkw

according to the data logging and 1 pull in 4th gear it gets 1 psi of boost at 1800 and 12psi at just under 3000rpm.

i run a plain bearing gt35 copy

spool up about 1900, 12psi by 2800

The T series are older style turbo's originally designed in the 1940's The GT is latter model / designed Garrett Turbo.. Why the GT...
The T04Z is a latter model turbo also with same designed housing as GT series.. With .84 housing and around 9 to 1 comp they spool around 2500 with good power / boost under that rpm, like 4 Lb at 1200 rpm with some load...
Not too bad for a 800 h.p turbo...
The T04Z has less issues with overheating bearings as there housings are bigger... They are roller bearing also...
