have brought a tow bar of ebay... now i have to create plug at the back for the indicators etc. to work... how is it done by ford (I'm hoping theres just a plug behind the front bar somewhere... any help appreciated)

EDIT 6/12/07

have just brought a genuine ford towbar have started installing it... just wondering what to do about this.... the two arms either side where supplied with bolts.. i was told that the are nuts are welded to the frame... this is true but my nuts are not threaded... do i need to get them threaded or do i just screw the bolt in there to create its own thread...?

behind the right hand side there should be a plug (drivers side tail light) that the loom plugs into

You will find that the bolts from Ford have a cut at the end of the bolt to actually cut the tread as a "tap" would. If you dont have these bolts tap them. the bolt looks like an M10.

Yeah thats it. They self tap themselves. So just screw them in, and it'll be right.
I can't remember where the trailer wiring is for the EL's. I think if you lift the carpet in the boot, it's right there. Haven't wired one up for a year or more though.
