hey guys just a quick post just after some info on where the xg engine numbers r as my mate just picked on up but for some reason needs the number for some rego issues.

on the eb there under No 1 exhaust.


on my el its right down low on the block right just above the sump ?
half hiddin by the gearbox surpport bracket?

Look in both of those places. 92 to 94, I think they were near the waterpump area under the exhaust side of the block, then 94 to 96 they were on the rear web of the block above the alloy bracket. They were stamped with either proper stamps or dot matrix stamps. The dot matrix stamps are very hard to read.

get some carby clean, spray the big flat area near the bell housing, usally there , if not as mentioned before just near the number one exhuast , use the carby clean and a light
