Gday,

I am after the standard tire dimensions of the factory tires fitted to XB sedans with 15x7" tires as standard. eg, 205/50 R15

Cheers,

Matt

It might been something like that. In the day, they used tyres sizes like ER78 14, as an example. That was the std size for the first XD's.

XB's only came out with 14 inch wheels stock rim width was 5inch with an option of 6inch on the GS models with GT's running 14x7's

Checked the placard today and it says ER70H15 with JJ7 option rims. It also has JJ6 and JJ5 option rims for other sizes. I take it JJ7 means 7 inch.

there were a limited few factory xb's that came out with 15inch rims but rare as. I thinck the ER70-15 is the same as 215\65\15 but not 100% sure, could be 60 series.

Yep, 15's were available, they were the Globes, (Bathurst mags same as the option for GTHO Ph III).
They used them up until the XD ESP's. they were 15 X 7's.

Thanks for the info guys. Just needed the largest option wheel size for my modification pre-approval. They approved the wheels and tyres no probs but pulled me up on the motor. Have to change my plans...

They said a supercharged 383 is too big for a 1600 kg car...and the rear track was too wide by 6mm.
