after talking to a radiator 'specialist' he said that the falcons run too hot with they're thermostat and that the AC would run MUCH cooler if a 81 thermo was installed. reason being there is a lot of radiant heat going forward.
i know the ecu doesnt like cold engine temps as it open loops at 78 or something but i was thinking a better way to cool it down would be to undo the bolts out of the radiator and shim it back 10mm from the front and move the mounts at the bottom back a bit. What do you guys think?

How is moving the rad back to keep the condensor colder going to make your cooling system better?
It might make your aircon colder when the car is sitting still and not getting as much air flow throgh the condensor but... whhhhhyyy???? And what is with your obsession with the cooling system?
