ok realised what the police booked me on the brake light side of things!!
when i have my head lights on and i brake, my right hand side globe stops working all together when i take my foot back off the pedal the light turns back on, but when i dont have the head lights on and i press the brake the lights turn on and it works fine?????
anybody heard or knopw what the hell has happened, i have replaced the globe twice so i dont think its the globe.
cheers dave

short in the wiring at the tail light, have a look for corrosion or cut wire, possibly overheated and melted the insulation?

Go outside now and press your foot on the brake without the parkers or headlights on, if the dash lights illuminate check to see if your front parkers go on.

If so, chances are you have the wrong globe in the brakes.

or

as stated a dodgey earth or connection.

I'd be removing the globes WDing the connections and replacing all globes for a measilly $10 and enjoying the evenness of light lumens!

i have had same problem with my EF and found can b e one of two things one bad earth or two corrosion in the globe holder best solution is to replace tail light loom as it will fix either problem and its cheap and easy to do
