I fixed it guys, map sensor hose onto the runners had blown out.

Glad you found the problem. Recently i changed the injectors on my EL and the idle was absolutely crap. I thought all the injectors were duds! Anyways i accidently knocked of the vac hose to the MAP sensor, i only realised it was that cause of the hissing sound! Man did it blow some black smoke too!!

did the injectors make the idle better in the end?
