I am trying to do an upgrade on the premium sound in an EF.
I have a JBL 2 channel amp to power 5.25" splits up front. I have figured out that the fronts have no cross over from the factory, so i have run new wires to the splits from crossovers (mounted behind new pioneer single din deck) It appears to be easy enough to plug into the factory RCA cable block (round 8 pin plug) to run the rear speakers and sub. I am planning on mounting the amp under the passengers seat, but i can not find anywhere to run the power cable through the firewall. The v8 seems to block about every hole, and to make it worse it also has gas injection!!!!!!! So if i can get a power cable into the cabin, is it also worth running one to the rear amp?? |

the fronts have an inline crossover, just a resistor or 2. rewiring is needed anyway to correctly hook it ll up.
Why'd you go with 5.25" splits when you can fit 6.5"? meh cbf typing anymore right now |

Mate no longer had a use for them.
Does this mean that the door speakers need rewiring as well, or just the tweeters?? and is there any easy way to get a power cable inside?? cheers -Jamie |

is the car auto or manual?
if its auto you can use the hole for the clutch cable, next to the brake booster (unless thats being used by the gas setup?) if its manual... spewin i wouldnt know haha i read somewhere of following the route that the bonnet release goes? under the right headlight and through the front wheel arch or something?
