Hey, im having trouble with the el, Most of the time you have to shift it out of park and put it back in to try and get it to start.
Is there a solution to the problem?
Cheers!

Is that the switch that reconises when it is in park or neutral?
Do you have to get under the car to locate or pop the plate cover on the T-bar off??
Cheers

When I had my old EF Ghia, I had a problem with mine...it wa sa s**t to get off...pretty much rusted on and had to smash it to get it off...but it should be easy to get off if not rusted...

If you do manage to get it out, try cleaning it first before buying one...open it up and clean all the contacts.
