1: Remove old B.E.M
2: Install new B.E.M 3: Wind window down. 4: Ignition on (second click) smartlock jewel will flash fast. 5: Leave car shut door. 6: Wait 30-45mins EF, 60mins EL. 7: Door locks will cycle. 8: Smartlock light will be steady. 9: Crank (DO NOT turn off then crank). Run for a few minutes to recharge the 60mins of ignition being on. Turn off Reprogram remotes Job Done.

You'll be going back to Step '4' and waist another 40 or so minutes!

You don't run the car (you won't be able to anyways), you simply turn on the ignition.

yeah i know, when it's on accessories if drains the battery... Not the patrol tank. Not thinking straight do day. And what is the chance my battery will die while running it while it learns the new codes?
