Hay guys went for a run down the shop today & id only been driving for about 5 mins when i felt a bit of a pop .When i cheeked the speedo it wasn't working the odometer still there bit its not clicking over anymore an if that wasn't enough the cars got no guts It still shifts gears (I Think) but its incredibly slow on take off an theres no kick back when you put your foot in it .So I'm thinking it might be the gearbox, limp mode or some kind of speedo electrical problem since i had the Air bag light come on last week .So anyone have any ideas cause i don't even know if I'm suppose to take to a gearbox guy mechanic or a sparky .Any input will be appreciated cause I'm at a loss at the moment

Cheers Lance

If the speedo's not working then the problems either the speedo sender, or the drive gear, without a valid speed signal the ecu will put the trans in limp mode (3rd gear) therefore the sluggishness etc
