Are the V8 TCMs the same from EB through to EL? - and is it worth putting an EL V8 TCM in my EB?
As I recall, the shift strategys evolved in later models to include different lockup and shift, and in the GT adaptive shift. Ideas folks? |

For V8's it was only after the EL.
As the EL had adaptive shift in the GT I think (and later XR8's) im wondering. The other one was Cluch lockup strategy : Post Ed locked up clutch in 3rd as well as 4th Again, wondering if anyone knows if the swap is worthwhile Nigel |

From what I read, different cars have different shift patterns depending on what it was. Luxury models would shift different from performance models etc.
