Title suggest what the question is.
I don't want to change engines, don't want to convert to serpentine. Is it possible to change the pulley from an EB/ED onto an EF/EL alternator? I'd love to get one in to fix the issue the thermos create.

What do you mean? How does it not fit correctly? Run me through the process in detail!

well first thing was the top bracket hit on the alt so i filled the alt till it fit then the pulley it fits on but the pulley is thicker and wont allow the bolt to do up very much which causes it to be out of allignment with the water pump and ballancer pulleys .was looking at grinding the pulley a bit thinner but havnt got that far yet but its on the car and working for about 6 months now with no probs YET
