could be the voltage regulator or something inside the altenator. Brushes might be shot. could be both. start with that.
the oil pressure could be due to lower engine running speeds or that the voltage output is not enough to supply the sensor.

Its the voltage drop in the body loom, its quiet normal.
Considering the AC clutch drains a few amps, fan drains a few amps, Thermo fans drain a heap of amps, all coming off a few pissy wires, then theres the after market sound system, then night driving .. etc etc. You could add an extra Earth strap to the car, this does actually aid a little.

it effects the oil gauge that much that sometimes it drops right to the bottom and the dash starts to beep, and starts to effect the idling and make it rough

i have the same problem
with the volts dropping i lose oil pressure but with a mechanical gauge its fine (now)

run good thick earth cables from motor/alternator to neg side battery and then nice thick positive from alternator + to battery positive, that will fix any voltage drop probs.
if not its regulator do you have underdrive pullys? at idle voltage may be a little low anyhow as the alternator isnt working at it peak for all that load |

i think my problem is an earthing fault not a charging problem causing the gauges to read faulty
my oil pressure mirrors my volts, gauge both are at the exact same spot, one goes down so does the other, to the same position
