You have to remember that ford's kw figure is obtained on a engine dyno and not with the motor in a car with all the real world stuff robbing kw's.

exactly
and its a best case scenario
with a brand new engine in perfect condition, not with 100000+ kms on it and who knows how much abuse in it life

honnestly dude kws rw or fw dont mean a damn thing in the real world

400m times are much better bragging material

i know personaly of several gen3s with 250+rwkw that run mid 14s or slower! im sure a lot of ppl on here hav seen similar things

any falcon with 150rwkw or more should be able to do better

theres just so much more to the story than peak hp

yep, quarter times say it all, my old ED had 140rwkw and ran a 14.97@92.69mph pass, a mate ran a 14.67 in an EF Gli with 129rwkw....

u dont HAVE to do anything mate

im just sayin i think too many ppl get hung up on kw numbers these days aye

then u get workshops using dynos to prove how good there products are
not mentioning any names here but many times u get a nice big kw figure and feel all happy satisfied customer but the cars realy no faster than b4

for example a mate of mine with a vr clubby had an exhaust built and fitted by a certain workshop in adelaide with a dyno sheet saying he made 165kwkw or so

sweet! that must be one awsome exhaust! happily hands over the cash

then 2wks later at a dyno day he struggles to make 145

what happend?..........

u do the maths

kws sell products
they hav nothing to do with winning races
