im trying to take to door trim off my fairmont to change my front speakers but cant get the frigen thing off. ive taken out all the screws i can see, the door handle screw, and the door lock thingy. is the trim in two seperate parts? does the speaker grill come off?
lol wat else do i need to unscrew before getting the trim off! giving me the s**t :p

does it seem like the top is stuck on? If it does then you need to pull up quite hard on the bottom of the trim to "unclick" the top part from the slot.

You should have a set of screws around the edge, one side the door handle, and 2 in the armrest.

If they are all undone, you would need to move the whole door trim upwards to get it off, as there is a set of clips where the window sill is

Its easiest if you wind down the window. then once all the screws have been taken out tilt the trim towards the car then give it a knock in an upwards direction. this should pop some of the clips then just pull it up towards. hopefully it all comes off in one piece...

have you tried taking out the little triangle thing in the top corner of the trim?
