Hey All was in a mates lowered eb driving beside my ea "mont lowered one stock snowflakes and the eb speedo said we were doing eighty and the mont speed said 74.... Does anyone know why it would be so far off seeing how i am on stock rims?? Does lowering a car interfer with the speedo that much?? or could it be something else??

the lower the car is to the ground wont affect the speedo, does your mates eb have different size rims on it? perhaps it is his speedo that is out

I think one of you has the wrong speedo gear in the sender unit.
If one of the cars came standard with 14s, the speedo drive gear in the box will need changing.
The only way you can be sure is to remove the one that's in there and check the colour. Use the calculator [link below] to work out the correct colour gear. If they match, that speedo is correct. If they don't spend $13 at Ford to get the correct one and fit it.
