If you have a spare flywheel, take it to a machine shop [we use Repco Engineering divn. in West Gosford, there should be something similar near you.] and have them machine it for you. It should cost a fraction of the $450 you're quoting. The last one I had done [VW] cost well under $100 and that included drilling and tapping new holes for a non-stock P/plate as well as balanced.
It's best if you work out how much weight you want removed first and as there are many, very smart, Ford performance guys here I'll leave it to them to advise on that.
If no-one jumps in contact Joe at Crescent Motorsport through the sponsors page, his answer will be as good as you can get.
A heavy duty clutch should also include a reinforcement to your pedal box/firewall, there are many threads on this and a search will give you plenty of reading. IMO they don't reach their full potential unless you go hydraulic, that also reduces the need to reinforce as well, but many think otherwise.
The suspension options you list will certainly improve your handling, esp with an LSD. Personally I think anything more than lows is all show and does nothing practical in handling improvement and worsens the ride comfort. There's nothing wrong with slamming it if that's the look you want, I'm not being critical just be aware that the lower you go the more complex your steering and handling geometry becomes.
I haven't used K-Mac for years so I'll leave comparisons to Whiteline for others.
Hope these comments help,
Paul

Hi Fezagero,
The K-mac's I've used in the past performed great as you say. 48/215, FJ and EH Holdens, XT, XW, XY, XA and XC Falcons I've owned all responded great to K-Mac bars etc. I haven't used any Whiteline gear on E Series so didn't think I should compare them but they do get good reports, if somewhat overpriced IMO.
The Mk2 Escort sure brings back some memories...
Paul

Gday mate, a few blokes from the boostedeseries site have gotten a 10.5" clutch and BA lightened flywheel setup for there falcons and it made a great difference. For one bloke it dropped his 1/4mile from 14.2 to 13.8. I believe the whole setup cost about $1000 or so.
