Hey guys,

I've got a Mongoose immobiliser in my EA at the moment, it works fine, BUT when the alarm is triggered (usually from me opening it through an open window by hand when it's locked), the lights flash but no noise. Anyone know of any diagrams or anything that'll help me connect it up to the horn? (I assume that's where the alarm sounds) ...Or am I missing a part of the whole system?

Cheers

Do you have the manual from the Mongoose? or was it already there when you purchased etc the car....

You can speak with local car audio dealers that might source mongoose security systems to help you out...they also offer optional siren modules that can be connected but yes there should be something that connects to your horn...but not all alarm systems are audible....could also wire up something of your own..

Probably easier to find something with a siren, no? I'd like it to be audible. I've had nightmares about people breaking into my car and stealing/trashing stuff. Plus, I'd like to catch the kents in the act.
