nah they wont fit, your options are to cut the parcel shelf which is im fairly sure makes your car unroadworthy or buy/build some spacers to fit between the parcel shelf and the 6X9's

this was just asked over in the audio section, mdf across the whole shelf seems popular, probably sounds a lot better too... im still tossing up spacers or mdf shelf... i used an mdf shelf in one of my older cars and it worked a treat, sounded great too...

You can try mounting them from underneath if that makes sense. If you're planning on getting a sub at some later stage, I personally wouldn't bother with 6x9s.

Just my 2 cents.

i had mdf surround my whole shelf in the ef, looked sweeet, many people just do the spacers as an easy option

i got a sub and 6x9s. i used spacers for the 6x9s. the only problem with spacers is that they dont fit longways due to the middle seat bealt holder. so if you dont mind the look of spacers being laid down as the same way as the car then spacers are good.

by the mdf parcel shelf do you mean a piece of mdf over the original shelf (sorta like 1 giant spacer) or replace the steel one with mdf?
