I havent done a full tank yet on my new EL Fairmont Ghia V8. It was dead empty and I filled it up with Ultimate 98. I'll let you know how it goes.

Its scary reading the L/100km when in instant mode. I sunk the boot in and it read 56L/100km then I cruised and it went to 8L/100kms.

My ED Sprint gets about 450 - 500km from a tank. Alot less if I chop it though.

Cheers,

Kenezevic.

I get 400-500 depending how I drive, my worst was about 350 n that was when i got the car n wanted ot see "what it could do" lol, a very expensive 350kms that was, hell worth it but.
Ive never tried to grandpa the car around 100% of the time, altho i know when i do i notice the fuel gauge suddenly stops moving as fast!
I drive fairly normally, from the light i get to about 2.5k rpm or if in a hurry about 3.5-4.5k rpm..

My L/100kms normally sits at around 16ish, max 18, lowest on hwy was like 9, you get the drift, all with 68L tank of premo unleaded.

i get anyhwere from 300- 550 km depending on how i drive and how much city or freeway driving i do i reckon i averadge about 450 km with 75% freeway 25% suburban and with a little bit of hard driving. mines manual so it also does slightly better than the autos. not really much of a difference from my 16 i used to have and more power which i think makes it worth it.
regards from adam

I've just done a full tank of Ultimate 98 on my EL GHIA V8. I got 534km from 68L.

I reckon thats not bad at all considering its done 286,000ks.

V8s arent as thirsty as some people think. It all depends on how you drive it. :D

I get atleast 400 or so with "spirited" driving.

On the highway its real good.

Havent ran it dry on highway runs, but 700 would be a easy target i recon.
