Hi everyone just a quick question.

I have installed my Pioneer head unit into my EF where the stacker use to be, the only thing is the brackets that came with the pioneer would not match up or even slot into the top side at all. after cutting the bracket and all. I could only get it to fit into the bottom half.

Does anyone no if i can just buy a shelf or tray to slide into the top side ?

Hmm if this is regards to the double din hi spec one then I've got no clue, sounding like it.

But if it's the standard one, I recently fitted a pioneer one to my ef gli, I took the stock brackets flattened them past the horizontal folds. I then ground them down and cut them shorter, refolded them and drilled a new whole in them for the antitamper front screws. not the most secure hold only using one screw each side, and one side into the car, but it does the job. If you want a pic or two and measurements of the altered brackets I used let us know and I'll get it out in a day or 2.
