does any1 have a bad smell comming from the aircon?

In the first week of picking up my EB I noticed a strong smell of apples comming from the air con, But it went after about a week so that was good.

What sort of bad smell? Sometimes the evaporator can develop mould on it, giving off a bad smell.

nar what it is, is the circulation vent under the passenger foot well doesnt open, so you get the engine smell in the cabin. what i want to know is, how do i get to that vent. if i have to take the dash out, where to go for some pictures.

sounds like the same problem i have. the smell goes after a minute tho. but i get weird noises after the air con's turned off coming from somewhere on the passenger side and it also squeels sometimes. used to think it was my stereo.

funny after i got a new evaporator installed mine started smelling too. it only smells when warm air comes out of the vents when your air con is on the smell goes away. ???
