Hey guys like the title says i was wondering if AU Fairmont rims fit on an EF Fairmont?

I had a search but all i found out was that they changed the wheel fitment.

Any help will be really appreciated, cheers,

They have a diferent offset, so you'll have to run spacers/hub adapters to fit them, which may be illegal in your state.

Oh ok, so from what i've read they seem to be legal in nsw, could someone confirm this?

If they are what are the offsets of the ef and the au? and what size spacers would i need?

(I'm sure these newb questions are covered somewhere on this site but i haven't been able to find it so i appreciate all your help guys)

Cheers,

Pat

Out of curiosity, which series AU are the rims from? Personally, I can't see Au1, 2 or 3 Fairmont rims looking good on any e-series.

Thi is the rim i was looking at, i'm not sure which series it's from, I just liked that it was similar to th ef ghia rim and was 16" instead 15 as i'm hoping to keep my car looking fairly understated.

Could ayone shed anymore light on my questions above?

Cheers,

Pat

EL Ghia Rims look the best and will fit with no problems but are only 15"

Thanks for all the responses, atm i have stock 15" ef fairmont ghia rims so i was hoping the 16" au ghia rims wouldn't be too much of hassle.

I now know they can be fitted with spacers, but i was still unsure of:

The size of the spacers and whether they're legal in nsw

Cheers,

Pat

ALL SPACERS are ILLEGAL. sOME ADAPTERS ARE LEGAL but this needs checking with the relative authorities in each state.  :D :D
