Superlow springs can be bought on ebay HERE ..... gotta specify height you want.
Or it might be cheaper if you called Dobinson springs (07) 3350 4443 and get a part number for the superlow rears, then go to Repco and get them to order them in for you. |

Sounds like you've either paid too much for a lowering job, or you've been burned by a s**t mechanic. No its just that every car that iv been in an the springs have been cut, they pin it around a corner and the wheels rub in the gaurd and the tyres hit the wheel archs going over hard bumps. Id rather just have a shorter more compressed springs rather then cutting them.

That surprises me. Unless the wheels were big bangers?? I've had my car fully loaded and never scrubbed anywhere (except exhaust on speedhumps). Or maybe I'm not low enough!! |

The last one
Nah I think hes probably referring to live axle commodores that have been lowered without getting adjustable panhard rods.

fordriver1, do you have issues when you carry passengers ? not a one. im using 25mm spacers to pull the wheels in a bit. no scrapage EVER now, and i tow a trailer for work. and have 3 kids that fill the back seat if we use it for family travel.

You've inspired me to go even lower. Do you reckon I should put the progressive top half of the spring in the front or the back? I could cut them into four and send you a set too. Your car looks a little high at the moment Just kidding...looks very, very nice. |
