Okay, I know mums NL fairlane has the aerial on top for a mobile car kit.

But, Wondering, without starting to pull it all apart, does it already have a antenna lead going from the aerial back to the dash? .

cheers
antony.

The connection is under the parcel shelf in the boot somewhere, it has a little black cover over the end of it if it hasnt been used before, it hangs 5cm down if it hasnt been tucked away or used..
Also the aerial is an analog one, you can get a digital replacement one from ford that goes in the same spot so im told, altho ive never looked much further into it.

Pretty sure it has been used before, because its got holes in the center console where a previous owner had a car kit ...

So yeah, spose I was just wondering whre they end up :) ... guess i'll pull it apart lol :)

sounds like your best bet, try just under the ash tray.

Since its been fitted before, Id presume itd be somewhere behind where it was fited..
If it was on the dash then look behind the radio/ashtray; in this case you say center console so what id do is pull the gear shuft surround off or the electric window plate n have a looksee under there for any stray wires.
Its possible they didnt use the cars built in aerial even though it was installed in the car, so still check under the parcel shelf when u got a spare min.
