Hey folks, thought id chuck up a picture of my BA rocker cover cover that got painted and cleared. My Girlfriend did all the silver lettering and the ford badge. Looks great (the cover LOL) and took for f**k ages.

Hi. Looks like a good finish. What process did you use? Plastic undercoat? Normal autopaint in Envi? Clearcoat? Cut and polish? Did you sand the paint off the lettering or paint them silver?

fordfalconBAxr6, i lightly scrathed the surface with scothbrite pad (yes you heard me) and then gave it two coats of plastic primer (the auto type)
I just got the colour matched in a spray can for $25 bucks from paint mobile in base coat. gave it 3 coats of base coat and let it dry. As for the lettering and the ford badge my girlfriend did it all by hand with acrylic silver....then let the lot dry and gave it two ocats of top coat clear....and yes my car is envy green.
