i have herd that if the alloy radiatiors dont earth properly they just fall apart when u touch them.
how do i know? one of dads mates formula fords that thing happened

Yes thats right if you have a bad earth problem. And you have to run the right coolant in them too. They are more about looks as they dont last as long as the conventional type.
