it will run high impedance injectors fine, and no u wont have to do anything to the dizzy, the only thing is the ems has a seperate map sensor, so all you have to do is run a plastic pipe to the ecu, which is supplied as well. anymore questions, feel free to ask mate.

cheers

So with the adaptor you just unplug the original ecu and add the adaptor and 8860 and away you go????

thats it mate, providing you put in the pipe for the map sensor.

the adaptor is for a EA/ED manual though, im not sure why it cant work with ef/el manual's as well, but with auto's the stock ecu has to stay in to control the btr, but the rest, the ems can take care of.

the ecu has a normal falcon base tune on it, but that isnt the final tune, has to be tuned afterwards.

cheers

I am sure the EA-ED run a different plug to the EF-EL, and the factory ECU in the EF-EL runs lots of stuff like aircon/abs/dash etc.
It can be made to work on and EF-EL, but only as a piggy back

unless you can find a ef/el male plug and make up your own adaptor......? as much of a headache as that would be.

Not that hard, just need a male and female plug, as per the factory loom, and make your adapter, I believe Mitchg911 and/or Justfordima may be able to help, they were making them for the MegaSquirt ECU's

EL plug is 60 pin, same as EB/ED configuration. Will work fine.. though some consideration needs to be given to bbm and thermo fan configuration
