got a friend who's dad is a sparky, owns the business etc. the tax man says they're not having enough fun and need to write some more stuff off, like a new car.

the one they have now is awsome, baII mont with almost full optioned interior, lether. Mercury silver with the 18ich wheels. looks a treat. (im gonna hover and see if i got the pennies to buy next year)

they were saying it was really jerky between gears or something, like it would swap gears or get stuck for no reason. i heard there was a TPS recall, but i thought it was on the mkI only (but i could be wrong) i am right in assuming that its a tps failure, no?

It sounds like it could be a tps, should also check trns fliud level and condition of fluid, and for leaks around the tranny if it seems it is having gear selection problems. I suggest taking the car to your local ford dealership and getting them to check your car out with their WDS (worldwide diagnostic systems) diagnostic tool, and ask to look at the fault codes if any,get copythe car may just need a pcm software upgrade...Vito.
