2500 is not enough, Ive got a dominator 2200/2400 thats only 200rpm above normal and I cant really tell the difference, this is with a Wade 1636 producing 150rwkw. The cam your looking at will have a higher power range and will need more rev's to get you going. Mine cost $460 but it was ordered wrong and had been siting on the shelf for while, expect to pay between $400 - $800 depending on brand and the quality of parts used.
