If your gonna do that, you might as well move the whole EL wiring loom, computer etc etc with the dash and it would be more or less straight forward.

Only thing I'd imagine being difficult would be airbag sensors and stuff. (but them again I've never dealt with them so I wouldn't know.)

I've been wondering if I can mod an EL front bumper to fit my EA... I look the look of them.

Just put EL motor and BBM switch and use EB wiring loom on EL motor it same and few things you will have to mods wiring for BBM switch and knock sensor thats all! and use the EL ECU (same plugs).

you need to add 4 wire from ECU to engine bay for the BBM & knock sensor.

For just the motor linesix is right but if you want the complete interior Frank's right. Much easier in the long run, better for using EL cruise and climate control etc.
Use the search facility, there's plenty of threads on modding the front seat legs, handbrake [easier still if you use the EL rear end, I did], dash, heater box etc.
The roof lining fits and make sure you change over the accel. pedal with the cable. The EB pedal will work, the EL feels better.
Once you get the EB dash and engine out the rest is pretty straight forward if fiddly, even the air con. complete and all the looms and harnesses. While you've got all the seats and carpets out its simple to transfer all the wiring
I found taking heaps of pix very useful.
Hope this helps,
Paul
