I remember looking into queensland laws about lights on cars recently. Red is fine if its facing backwards, ie tail lights, brake lights etc, if theyre facing the same direction, no probs. However blue is not allowed, its reserved for emergency services basically. I think that was about all it said. took a bit of googling to finally track down somewhere on the qld transport site where it actually said it, and rules may be different in vic, but yea, thats what I got for QLD
