Will you be running LPG Injection or a Gas Research throttle body inplace of the factory ford TB? Not much really changes from a Petrol Turbo engine.

I'd love to turbo my LPG Injected EB, but i don't think there is much headroom in the KW capacity of the kit, not to mention i have no idea what the LPG regulator will do under boost conditions. I do know it uses manifold vacume to regulate the flow of lpg.

Anyway, i know it's been done, LPG Injection & Turbo, over in the UK & Europe they have some cars setup like that. Google & have a read of what it turn's up.

BTW, i'm building a Turbo LPG Red 6cyl for my Torana. Draw thru. I know not the best setup, but it's only basic re-engineering of a Strata kit so i can get plying with it. Eventully i'll go Blow Thru with custom manifolds & so on. I just wanna get it running again so i can play with my turbo. It's been too long!

Cheers

It works & it can work very well indeed.

ge2589, check out the Gas Research site, they have info on how to setup their gas carb's for both types of turbo charging, blow thru & draw thru.

Cheers

Unless i crack the $hits & end up fitting my turbo 6 to my panel van( so i can finally enjoy it!) it will probably be a long while before i get to drive it in my Torana. I've got a Hz panel van with a 253 & auto in it atm, but i am rather tempted to fit my 6cyl turbo engine & aussie 4spd into the van.

Only problem is engineering certificates & they would need different exhausts. The van already has a 2.5" that i could probably use most of it & just have a new front section made up..... However, i do own a mig, engine crane & lots of tools, so it wouldn't be too hard once the pano is on the road & converted to LPG, to just pull the v8 & slide in the 6. I can mod the exhaust up so i can bolt in either a v8 or turbo 6 front section & then atleast i could have a bit of fun with the turbo6 for a day or two without engineering it....

Damn choices!

Cheers
