Although "spelt" can be used as a past participle of 'spell', it is only spelled "spelt" in America because of their propensity to breakaway from the traditional Anglo-Germanic way of spelling. From now on I trust you too will spell correctly. I hope this helps with the interior light staying on? When i was painting the plastics under the fuse box on the drivers side i noticed a black wire and presumed it was just an earth id pulled off. turns out it was the wire to the door trigger and by earthing it gave it constant power. According to my sources the listing for the verb is "spilled", followed by the alternative spelling "spilt". So technically, the spelling "spilled" presupposes the later-adopted spelling "spilt" and therefore as previously, if you wish to be considered slightly more educated and academic amongst your peers, it should be spelled "spilled".
Now lets get back on topic...oh, it's fixed! Good work kapul! |
