Car is an EB1. When air con is turned on I can hear the fan running behind the dash, but no air is coming out of the vents. Can anyone tell me what is causing this?

Is there air coming out onto the windscreen? If so you probably have a vacuum leak

Yes all the air comes out to the windscreen no matter what setting it is on.
Can anyone tell me where the vacuum line connects to the manifold, and how to get to the vent controller end of it? Does the dash have to be taken out/apart? |

I think you can normally get away with removing th glove box. There will be a vac solenoid behind the dash roughly where the glovebox is. One of the hoses has probably come off.

yes, either that or a hose has come off or broken out in the engine bay and no vacuum getting to the control. (usually vacuum leak under dash is very audible, especially if bad enough to affect operation of the vents)
