Has anyone had drama's with au's doing donuts and then just stalling mid donut with an automatic transmission? Have asked heaps of people and noone knows y? It goes good doing the donuts and just stalls for no reason. Its an ex cop car 6 cylinder forte 1998. Only stalls when doing more then 3 donuts in a row?

sounds like your fuel pump is getting starved, put a new fuel filter in and see what happens

wouldnt be the fuel stayin on one side of the tank by any chance? Think bout it, once you start doin nuts the fuel would gradyally all move to one side and stay their because of the rotational G force? Just a theory i had.

Yep, this is why racers use a surge tank... it keeps a litre or so of fuel separate from the main tank.
My EA suffers from this on certain corners at Wakefield, but only on low fuel levels

sounds like a fuel problem, how can a car stall with ya foot on the accelerator, it can only be electrical or fuel.

Changed fuel filter when i first got the car secondhand and notice the problem, it changed nothing, got injectors done. Done efi cars have a swirl pot to stop this problem in the tank?
