Not looking to buy... Right now... Just curious as to how much a EF XR6 Front bumper (with heads lights etc...) and bonnet sell for. unless the bonnet is same as any old EF

mate, the bonnet is the same, but front guards are different IIRC

The bonnet is different but a gli one will fit

the xr bonnet has holes pressed for the flutes

just over $1200 from Ferntree Gully Auto Salvage for bumper with XR headlights and indicators. am i looking the same price with private sale or cheaper?

if you get lucky you can pick the front end up for 500. normally though its around the 700-1000 mark, depending on condition and urgency to sell etc.

Another option is look for a written off xr (from hail, rollover/rear end etc), then once you strip it of its good bits you can scrap the car, and sell off the good interior bits. I've seen wrecked fairmonts/xrs go for about a grand at the car auctions.

not down in vic, u wont get an xr with good front for that money
