sorry if this a stupid question, Can i take the heads that are in good condition out of one engine and stick em into mine?

Yeah you can. Though it is highly recommended to get the head resurfaced/straightened before you put it on your car. If the head is bent and you put it in, it will most likely blow another gasket...that's assuming you are talking about the alloy head, because your title is about head gaskets .

If you are talking about the gasket...then no, get a new one as well as new head bolts.
