Ok BA phone mute....four pin plug under the fuse box...
I understand that when you ground the green mute line, it mutes the stereo. So im guessing it automatically picks up the phone speaker input (where is this???) |

The other 3 pins are Ground, +12V constant, +12V ignition.
They don't normally come through your stereo speakers - the car kit has it's own dedicated speaker.

They don't normally come through your stereo speakers - the car kit has it's own dedicated speaker. not entirely true, there is another 2 pin white plug near the blue phone connector for wiring in the audio from the telephone, just requires cutting the speaker line from the car kit and connecting to the plug. using a crappy extra speaker is a sure sign of an installer not being very competant at his job or taking short cuts |

to easy, thats what i thought....im thinking i saw the connectors at repco...but may have been wishful thinking...they look like those standard ones u can buy

Yes. They are standard 4-pin spade/tongue and 2-pin T-Spade/Tongue connectors you can get from anywhere.
