Hi all,
My workmate jst gave me a Walbro fuel pump which he originally bought for his wrx but never used. Just wondering if it would be suitable for my au xr8 or if anyone would know what car it is suited for. All I can see stamped on it is..Walbro GSS342 00506-3 Made in USA PAT 4500270 5421306 Cheers

yep it will fit..
did it come with the fitting kit? when i fitted mine i used some of walbro's kit and some of the stock pieces.. its not a straight swap but it doesnt take much modification the gss342 is a 255lph varient and is happilly feeding my 225rwkw 5.0 -mitch

Sweet.
ill be getting a cam and springs done in the next couple months so I might whack the pump in as well. He just gave me the pump on its own. What extra things will I need for it to fit? and where can I get that kit from?

mine was supplied with the pump.. you can probably gfet away without it iits pretty much only a little piece of hose and a rubber thingy..
i wouldnt worry about chasing one up..
