hey guys, recently purchased a 1994 ED falcon S, 5 speed manny. pretty clean cut car, stock as a rock, hence the name. also new to this whole forum thing so yeah, just starting off a new topic cos i think that's the right thing to do =S. anyway, just wondering what sort of stuff could get done to my car for $1000 or under. I've had a browse at all the posts but i'm not that experienced with cars, actually not at all. so yeah, extractors, cams, cat converters, exhausts, just wondering what gives the best power and what not, for a fairly modest budget. again this will be the first thing done to this car so yeah. cheers.

As Low_EFII has already said - read teh sticky.
5 speed is a huge advantage to start with. My suggestion is get the motor breathing better - exhaust, air intake, then look into a cam/headwork. Or you could go for looks, handling, brakes...
