I'm putting a 351 clevo in my xe falcon and i was wondering if you have to change the bellhousing or anything on the gearbox, otherwise it should bolt up right?, any help will be appreciated :)

yeah you will need a bell housing for a V8, also there is a spring in the valve body that may have to be changed if the C4 was from a 6cyl, the the trannies reved out more on a 6cyl due to less tourque than an 8cyl.

your car was originally fitted with a 6cyl and C4????? what was it? taxi or cop car or something?

what do xe's come with stock then? coz i was told it's a c4. it's prolly not hey...damn :?

if it's a 6 cyl, it's most probably a borg-warner 35 series auto.......

quickest way to check is which side of the car the shifter-selector shaft linkage is on the box..... if it's on the drivers side, it's BW, if its the passengers side, it's a C4

also dont the C4 have external fwd and rev band adjusters.
